Jesse, you were always special to me, so many memories of the little things I'll never forget. I know now, you are home with Lillian and Mother and Daddy, and Honey Bill. Now the music starts, Angels be on alert, the Bates' Band is ready to play.

Mr. Bates,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and the Korean War with the U.S. Army Air Forces and USAF and also for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Jim, Deborah, and Donna and each and every one in all of your family, my prayers are with each of you for your comfort. My heart is heavy as is yours ~ losing a brother and your losing your dear dear Daddy is pretty hard but know that the love of our family is with each of you during this time of sorrow.
Here is a prayer for you that I have prayed for your family.

This is a Native American Prayer

I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quite birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn.

May God go with each of you ~ Norm and I are thinking of you and wishing you comfort and peace.

Sending you our love,
Norm and Carrie
