Gail Scroggins Obituary
She was the associate manager of the S&H Green Stamp Store for many years. She also was the manager of what's now known as White Sands Community until her retirement.
She was an avid reader and had a book in hand at all times. She also enjoyed sewing and music.
Survivors include a daughter Barbara Chitty, of Alamogordo; a granddaughter Gail Anne Misquez and her husband, Mike of Rancho, Mirage, Calif.; a grandson Philip Scroggins, of Las Cruces; one brother Bobby Walcott, of Albuquerque; one sister Patsy Whitlock; of Lincoln, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Charles Scroggins, five brothers J.C. Walcott, Vincent Walcott, Charles Walcott, Bill Walcott and Micky Walcott; and two sisters Mary Brown and Betty Klump.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harry Riser officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Good Samaritan Society Betty Dare, 3101 N. Florida Ave., Alamogordo, NM 88310.
The Scroggins Family has entrusted the Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.

I miss you Gail!! I always enjoyed laughing with you, encouraging you to eat, and I especially got a kick out of you flirting with my husband and son. Makes me smile! You are a special lady! I know you are having a blast in heaven now!!! I think of you with oatmeal pies and tootsie pops! love you!

Gail will be missed by all who knew her at Betty Dare Good Samaritan Center. I enjoyed our conversations by the inside birds... a hug goodnight ... and her friendly smile . Yesterday, my mom asked, "Where's that lady who would hold both my hands?" In Heaven with the Angels, if course .
