Frederick Geiger Obituary
AGE: 62 • Long Branch
Frederick C. "Rick" Geiger, 62, of Long Branch, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rick was born in Red Bank and grew up in Oceanport. He graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School in 1967, Villanova University in 1971 and Sherman College of Chiropractic in 1982. Rick has been a practicing Chiropractor for 30 years in Long Branch and Oceanport.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, Frederick C. and Julia H. Geiger. Rick is survived by his sister, Judith A. Baxter and her husband, Elwood L. Baxter of Leesburg, Fl.; several cousins and many friends.
A celebration of Rick's life will be held for family and friends at Branches Restaurant, 123 Monmouth Road, West Long Branch, on Saturday, June 9th, 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your favorite charity. You may light a candle of condolence by visiting www.woolleyfh.com.

Rick and I played softball together for many years. He was in center, I was in left. We shared many, many good times over the years. He was at my wedding, and I consider him, one of my very closest friends. We moved to NC in 2005. Got into phone calls only. I never knew he was sick!!!!! I am still heartbroken about that! Dear Judy. I remember Ricky well--I'll never forget how much trouble that we got into when we were little when I cut out big patches of his hair with finger nail scissors!! He was such a cute and sweet young boy--I'm sure he was just as wonderful as an adult. Hope you are doing well. Love, Nancy
