Jeremy Loos died while sleeping on the morning of Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at Palm Beach County Hospice Center in Boynton Beach, Florida. He was 37 years old. Jeremy was born in Somerville and was raised in Franklin Township. He attended Franklin Schools and Somerset County Vocational School for the Culinary Arts program. Jeremy was self-employed as a painter for many years before relocating to Florida where he was the lead painter for Summas Construction Design Inc. for the past four years. He loved to cook, loved animals, listening to music and watching movies. Jeremy lived life to the fullest and was blessed with good friends who stayed by his side until the end.

He is survived by his parents, John Loos and Patricia Burton Pillsbury and their spouses, Roberta Fleischman of Franklin Park and Scott Pillsbury of Somerset; a sister, Heather Kirk and her husband Jeff of Parsippany; a nephew, Kyle and niece, Erin; his paternal grandmother, Virginia Matthews and his step grandparents, Martha Pillsbury and Larry Fleischman.

Friends and family may gather on Sunday from 2-4:30 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. A memorial service will begin at 3:15 PM. Jeremy's cremated remains will be buried at Lake Nelson Cemetery in Piscataway at a later date.
