Anne E. "Anna" Michalowski

AGE: 96 • Formerly of Milltown & South River

Anne E. "Anna" Michalowski of Rockford IL formerly of Milltown & South River, NJ passed away on November 7, 2011 at the Amberwood Care Center in Rockford IL. She was 96 years old. Born in Milltown, NJ, the daughter of Thomas F. & Marian (Zurich) Carr, Anna married John C. Michalowski in 1933 in Milltown NJ. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Illinois and was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Milltown. Anna was also a member of the Women's Circle T.W.E.L.C.A.

Predeceased by her husband John, sister Marjorie Chan and several sisters-in-law, she is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Thomas & Enid Michalowski of Rockford, IL grandchildren, Karen & her husband Larry Barclay and Todd and his wife Amy Michalowski both of Texas, great grandchildren John and Betsy Barclay, McKinley and Brennan Michalowski, sisters-in-law Florence Petruska, Anna Michalowski, and Mary Mickalowski all of New Jersey and several nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday November 15, 2011 at 3pm at Van Liew Cemetery North Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Rotary Foundation, c/o Rockford Rotary Club, PO Box 1323, Rockford, IL 61105 would be appreciated. www.bronsonandguthleinfh.com

I helped take care of Ann at Rockford Nursing and Rehab. She was a verry sweet lady, I miss her so. It was a honor to have known her.
