ROBERTO MEDINA
AGE: 76 ISELIN
Roberto Medina passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at his daughter's home in Edison. He was 76. Born in Puerto Rico, he resided in Avenel and Sayreville before moving to Iselin over 5 years ago. Mr. Medina was employed as a Produce Manager for Pathmark in Hopelawn for over 35 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia M. Bonito and her husband Anthony E. of Edison; two sons, Roberto Medina, Jr. and his wife Sheri L. of Cedar Brook, NJ, and Jose Luis Medina and his wife Cheryl A. of Piscataway; his companion Rhoda Dorrbecker of Rahway, NJ; seven grandchildren; Heather L. Medina, Alexis M. Medina, Joseph Q. Medina, Brooke L. Medina, Carly E. Medina, Joshua R. Bonito, Justin A. Bonito; his former wife Monse Medina-Rampel and many brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at a time to be announced, from the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel St., Avenel. A funeral service will follow at The New Dover Methodist Church, 687 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ 08820. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route #1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.

oh my
bob and i became friends many many years ago when we worked together in pathmark i called him Rican (no slur intended)and he call me the dutchman,my wife worked with him in hopelawn and she also called him bobby and we through the years have been to florida with him at his condo and just recentlly we had lunch with him in hopelawn.he was a good friend and he will be missed by many of us at pathmark and barbara and i personally.may he rest in peace in Gods arms and be blessed by his many friends ...rest in peace my good friend......
