Donald Cook Obituary
AGE: 80 • Manasquan
Donald "Doc" Cook of Manasquan passed away on June 26, 2015 at Alcoeur Gardens, Brick. Donald was born in Long Branch on Sept. 17,1934, son of Antrim and Lena Cook. Donald was a graduate of Freehold High School. He then continued his education at Upper Iowa University, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He then went on to Columbia Institute of Chiropractic where he received his Dr. of Chiropractic Degree.
Donald's life employment was a Health and Physical Education Teacher in the Bricktown Schools, along with being a dedicated Chiropractor in Brielle.
During his summers while going to school, he was a life guard at Main Beach in Manasquan.
Donald eventually settled in Brielle to raise his family. Donald is survived by his loving children: Dan Cook and his wife Kim of Manasquan, Connie Clarke and her husband Bruce of Brick and Linda Cook, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, also his grandchildren Matthew, Adam and Abby Cook.
He will be greatly missed.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to Celebrate the life of Donald Cook at the Church in Brielle, 821 Riverview Dr. Brielle on Monday July 6th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church in Brielle in Donald Cooks name. Condolences may be sent to: www.jerseyshorecremation.com

I'm saddened to learn about Don's demise, we met at Howell and went on to Freehold High School together graduating in 54. As you know Don was outgoing, smart, and popular. He was also a great sportsmen and an enjoyable person to be around, a great loss. I wish his family well and the ability to overcome this loss......he was a great friend.

Dan and Family - I'm very sorry for your loss. Your father lived a very full life, and great memories last forever. I wish I could have met him, but I'm sure in a way I have met him - through my time spent with his son Dan.

I Knew Don as an upper class man from
Howell Township and Freehold High. He was always a very good athlete.

I am saddened to hear of Docs passing.I had the priviledge of teaching many years with him, and always liked our chats about the shore, etc.My condolences to his entire family, may God help you as you grieve his passing.
