Eileen Moorehead Obituary

Eileen May Moorehead (nee Sheehan) was born in County Cork Ireland July 21, 1915. She passed away May 29th, 2009 at Rideout Memorial Hospital. Eileen immigrated with her family to California in 1925 where her dad worked as an electrician for the San Francisco Municipal Railway. She moved to Yuba City with her husband Del and son Jim in 1952. She was an avid Bridge player, taking up the game when she was a teenager. She also enjoyed golfing with friends. She worked for John Carlin Real Estate, and later Arnoldy-Deatsch Insurance. For many years she devoted her time to the 'Pink Ladies' at Rideout Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Delwyn Moorehead. She is survived by her one son, Jim Moorehead, of Mendocino, CA. Contributions are suggested to St Isadore Catholic School Parents' Club, 200 Clark Ave., Yuba City, 95991.

I have many fond memories of Eileen at Peach Tree Country Club. She was always a very, sweet and kind lady.

Jim and Arlene,

I am so sorry for your loss. You are such a kind and loving family and she was so very sweet.
She thanked me everyday for taking good care of her.
I can see her smiling. I have lots of pictures to remember her by.
