Patricia Beauchane Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Ann (Stringham) Beauchane, 77, of Fertile, MN, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the Riverview Hospital, Crookston, MN. She was born on June 5, 1939, to Albert and Jenny Vera (Allison) Stringham at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Pat was raised in Sioux Falls, attending the Washington High School, graduating in 1957. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Music Education Degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls in 1961. Pat began teaching Music Education in 1961 to 1965 at Greybull, WY, moving to Devils Lake, ND in 1965 to 1967 and she finished her career in 1998 at Northrop Elementary School in Thief River Falls, MN. On September 24, 1971, Pat was united in marriage to Kenneth Beauchane at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thief River Falls, MN.
Pat was a member of Eagles Auxiliary 2368, Local Pres. and District 2 Pres. DAC Board and Director for the Little Brothers/Little Sisters Board and Director and Pres. She was also a member of McIntosh Garden Club.
Pat is survived by her husband, Ken, Fertile; in-laws, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, William (Bill) Stringham, and one sister, Lois (Lester) Foster and nephew, Russell Stringham.
Funeral: 11 AM Monday, March 20, 2017, St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Mentor, MN.
Visitation: 4-6 PM with a prayer service at 5:30 PM Sunday, March 19, 2017, St. Lawrence Catholic Church Mentor, MN.
Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fertile, MN.
