Family-Placed Death Notice

Clarence Richard Brown, Jr., 85, of Atlanta died October 8, 2005. Surviving are his sons, William D. Brown, Norcross, John Thomas Brown, Atlanta, daughters, Barbara Brown Van Orsdale, Bartow, FL., Marjorie E. Brown, Kennesaw, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, aunt, Henrietta Lutes. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11th at 11 o'clock at Embry Hills United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Sargent and Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. Interment Westview. Mr. Brown was a 1939 Graduate of Boy's High School and Attended Georgia Institute of Technology, served in the Army during WWII, and retired from General Motors. Those desiring may make contributions to Embry Hills United Methodist Church, 3304 Henderson Mill Rd., Atlanta, Georgia 30341 or Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr. Atlanta, Georgia 30319. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 9 at H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Rd., Atlanta, GA 30319 (404) 261-3510
