I knew Phyllis back in the 5th grade, softball and all. Hung out and partyed well in our 20's. Saw her about five years ago. You my friend have made a mark in the Atlanta history of women's sports. Thanks for sharing your freindship with me. Her memory will stand strong in our hearts and mind. Peace be with you and your family.

Dear friends and family of Phyllis...When I read about her today for some reason I remembered a young teen with an incredibly feisty spirit. I remember a great athlete, a funny sense of humor, and somebody who made us laugh. But it's been over 40 years and I'm trying to figure out where the connection was made. I just checked out my yearbook from Briarcliff High (1968) and there was a cute little inscription she made. Did Phyllis go to Briarcliff? I didn't see her picture. I would love to find out a little more and also send my deepest sympathy. Linda (Atlanta)

Phyllis will remain in our hearts forever. Her love for people, her laughter and her ability to speak her mind is what endeared her to all us. Dana, your love for her is what is love is all about. The devotion you two had for each other is a good model for all couples to follow. The heavens have received a great angel who will continue to guide you through life. The brightest star you see in the sky will be her as she continues to light the way for you.
