Family-Placed Death Notice

LESTER, Myrtis Celebration of Life for Mrs. Myrtis G. Lester will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 397 Racetrack Rd., McDonough, Bishop Alfred Norris, Interim Pastor. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Her remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. She is survived by three children, Leonard P. Grimes, Jr. (Rachel), Patricia A. Smith (Tommy) and Gwendolyn Glenn; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, a brother, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The public viewing will be held today from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wesley Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. W.D. Lemon & Sons Funeral Home, 300 Griffin St., McDonough, (770) 957-4337.

To the family of Mrs. Myrtis Lester from the residents and staff at Peachtree Road High Rise: We are deeply sorry for your loss.
