HOPKINS, Joseph Harper Joseph Harper Hopkins, Joey, age 22, of Marietta and a student of Georgia Institute of Technology, passed away May 10, 2016. Joey was involved in a tragic accident while hiking on the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina. Joey died doing what he loved, with whom and where he loved. Survivors include his parents, Gail & Jim Hopkins; his college sweetheart, Abigail Gardner; grandfather Walter Hopkins; aunts & uncles: Walt & Della Hopkins, Vic & Allison Fisher, Melissa & Greg Flatt, John & Kim Fisher, Hedi & George Vinton, Ira Rosenshein, Gary Rosenshein & Barbara Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, 799 Washington Street, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425-0807. Sign online guest book at www.edressler.com.
