Mr. Miller was a true southern gentleman. I only kept up the yard and garden at the lake house, but he treated me and my family with as much respect as he would have CEO's or company presidents. He often invited me in and told stories from his past, about the wars or his days working for Georgia Power. I cherished those opportunities because they were stories from the life the most remarkable man I ever met. He enriched the lives of everyone who crossed his path. There are few people I have met that I admire without reservation, and he was one of them. I hope that there is a heaven, because he is one of the rare people that deserve to go there.

JuJu, I am so very sorry to hear the news about your husband Jim. He was always such a cheerful, witty Director of Parking at your house for Alabama Club meetings. We will miss him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
With sympathy,

May God comfort you as you recover from this tremendous loss.
I will miss my friend " Mr Miller" and the many visits he made to the Hatch and Vogtle job sites as we poured our very lives into completing the units.
His tours of the site were not confined to a conference room for an update but also included a walk-through so he could thank as many workers as possible for their efforts to provide power to "do the work of the people of Georgia".
He always asked me to be a part of his program to update State and local officials when he brought them to the "field" to witness the efforts necessary to construct Nuclear facilities. I was always impressed with his ability to convince a lot of those who probably had opposing views to come "get their shoes dirty" and listen to our story.
One final memory I shall never forget. It was a Saturday morning and I was in my construction trailer at the Hatch site preparing some work schedules for the next week. I heard some footsteps coming down the hall and thinking it was one of our engineers, I called out to let them know where I was.
In stepped Mr Miller and his son in their hunting clothes. "Ken,how about taking me and my son on a tour of the site?"
We spent the next few hours looking at some work areas not on our normal tours and having some discussions on a variety of subjects. The personal time with him was most appreciated.
His support of me and trust in me will live with me forever.
