My sincere sympathy to the Chandler family. My husband, Peter, and I enjoyed many get-togethers with John and Eloise and I am sad to hear the news of his passing.

In memory of John David Chandler Sr/My Uncle John..
I remember Uncle John as being a very kind loving, whitty, well informed, intelligent man who loved God and family.
I remember when I first met Uncle John after his older brother Bill married my Mother when I was 9 in 1953. His Father and Mother, "Daddy Kuch and My Dear" were so good to me. They are the only Grandparents I ever knew.
I remember when we drove to Athens to visit when David and John Lee were first born. I was about 10 at the time and just loved the babies. We drove every year from So Florida to Athens, Alabama to visit with the family.
Later I remember spending time with Uncle John and Aunt Eloise in Nashville when I was Thirteen and enjoyed so much playing with David that Summer. I named one of my sons John after Uncle John because he was such a great Role Model to me. Through the years we have always tried to stop and see Uncle John and Aunt Eloise whenever we went through Atlanta and they have always welcomed us with open arms.
I know we will meet again some day in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at your time of loss.
.Sincerely, Suzie
