My condolences to the family of Gerald "Dre'" Hardeman. I had not seen Gerald for about 10 years and was very sad to hear of his passing. I remember the way he would walk into my aunt's house at 1050 Coleman street with his head high like he owned the world. Mrs. Sonya words can not even describe how broken my heart was when I heard the news. Although I did not know Mr. Gerald long, One thing that I knew for sure was the love you have for him is so uncondtional. Gerald and my brother Donald are so much alike.They both became wonderful men. I remember how close my brother Charles and Al relationship was before Charles's death. So, we understand what it means to suffer such a great lost. Gerald was always a nice and fun loving person.

To the wife and children of Andre...I knew him briefly in life before yours as a friend. We were young adults and crossed paths through mutual friends. I saw his picture on the news and knew that it was familiar to me. While the friendship had no real substance in time, clearly people that have crossed my path in some way leave a mark...when I think of how young we were I know we never thought that life would be taken from us a such an early age in our lives...it has really brought my mortality into view. I send up prayers and love to you and your family during this time.
