Family-Placed Death Notice
WEIGEL, Jr., Bernhard Mr. Bernhard "Buddy" Weigel, Jr., age 78, of Morrow, passed away, August 6, 2013. He is survived by his wife; Betty Jo, children; Kenneth (Glenda) Weigel of Anniston, AL, Michael (Jill) Weigel of McDonough, Katherine Weigel of Santa Monica, CA, step children; Steven Cannon and Robert Townsend both of Stockbridge, grandchild; Kayla Weigel, 8 step grandchildren; and 5 step great grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held, 11am, Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. A Rosary service will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers make contributions in memory of Mr. Weigel to St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 591 Flint River Rd., Jonesboro, GA 30238. Kathy, we would like to extend our deepest condolences. I know how your dad was your ROCK. All of the special moments you shared with him throughout the years will help to sustain you in these coming day's of sorrow. Know that his pride and love will always be with you. You are a product of his love and he will always be there for you even though he is no longer here in body his spirit and memories will be with you forever. Your dad is in your heart.

Dearest family of Uncle Buddy, you are in our hearts and prayers. We as a family tried to go to Mass at our church this AM and there was a funeral instead of the usual 9 am mass. Our thoughts are with you today and in days to come.
