We were saddened to hear Aunt Anna passed away. I took a motorcycle trip up to Atlantic last summer to see her and I'm so glad I did. Chris and I remember going to Exira as kids to visit Aunt Anna & Uncle Harold and visiting Grandma Overgaards house and seeing her tiny birds. Also, going to Aunt Mariannes farm. Such wonderful days that are just a memory now. But thats what cant be taken away from us, our memories. We lost Mom (Cookie) July of 2010, and our memories keep us going. It gets real hard sometimes. I know that Mom and Aunt Anna, Grandma Rose Grandpa Eben and everyone else who left us are all up there having a grand time. I had two favorite aunts, and one of them was my aunt Mariane. Of aunt Mariane's children I had three favorite cousins; and one of them was Anna.

I didn't see Anna all that much because I was in Oregon and she was in Iowa; but the times we were together Anna was such a joy to be with. I enjoyed each time I was with her—in Exira, in Oregon, and in Atlantic. (The last time I was with her she snuck out on her patio to have a smoke with me.) ;-)

I send my deepest and sincere condolences to all of you who are connected with Anna. You will miss her presence, as will I.

Love and blessings,

Shelly (Shirley Bagger) Davis
