Miriam Hunt passed away on February 3, 2009, at the Lake View Terrace care home in Auburn, California. Miriam was born in Halifax County, North Carolina on December 23, 1923, to Harry and Eva Andleton. In 1950, Miriam met and married her husband Duward Hunt, with whom she traveled and lived at many Air Force Base locations across the country, eventually settling in Meadow Vista California, with their two children. Duward passed away in November of 1984 following a long bout with cancer
Miriam is survived by her son, Doug Hunt and wife Christine, of Reno Nevada, and by her daughter Fran Hunt of Applegate, Calif. Miriam is also survived by her brother Floyd Andleton of Hampton, Virginia and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews residing in Virginia and North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.on February 7, 2009, at the Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn California. Miriam will be laid to rest with her husband Duward at the New Auburn Cemetery.
