I deeply apologize I didn´t know of Barry´s passing at the time. Mom and I have beautiful memories of Mr. & Mrs. Sharrock, Barry, Susan, and most especially Renee. Renee and her family are the reason I am saved by God´s awesome grace and love for us.
I can remember hearing Barry sing from our backyard and in our church. He had a powerful voice!
Please know we never forget to pray for you all because you gave my daughter the most priceless gift on earth. May you have peace and comfort.

I didn't know Barry personally but knew Ruth and Roger very well. Can't believe it's been almost six years since he passed away. From what I read, Barry was obviously a very good man. So sad he died all too soon.

Dear Ruth & family,
From the picture, there's no doubt in my mind that he is Roger's son. So sorry for your loss and hope all goes relatively well under the circumstances. From the obituary, it seems that your son was a very talented and compassionate man. Sincerest condolences.

I met Mr. Sharrock bitter/sweetly during the course of his illness. There are no words that be more true: A sweet spirit that even on his bad days found in the good in others & sought the "positive" in everyday. A true inspiration of a man that held onto hope & faith as part of his life, not something he even had to think about as it just came naturally. May he sing with our Lord & Angels....or maybe even "Lead" them in song...

Dr. Sharrock taught our blind special needs young lady at Dreher for two years. We often went to his performances and enjoyed greeting him at area festivals. It is with sadness we learn of his death but joy that he was involved with our lives.
