My heart was greatly saddened to hear of Joe's passing this week. Joe was a real joy to visit with and his dedication and love for the pharmacy profession, as well as his fellow pharmacists was seen in his dedication to AZPA and his participation in the PAPA Steering Committee. I will miss reading article submissions to the AZPA Journal, his tamales at Christmas, and his wonderful laugh!

I lived next door to Joe and adored him. My three little girls always enjoyed talking to him and visiting with him. He always had a smile on his face and a "hello" to anyone he walked by. He was our first friend moving here. He will be missed beyond belief and I send my love and thoughts to his family.Won't be the same walking my dogs and not seeing him play solitaire on his computer. Such a loss but such an impact he made.

I just heard the news of your father's passing. I first met your parents when your mother came to work with us at Scottsdale Community College. She was a delight and everyone loved her and we shared their world travels, especially Ireland, through the wonderful detailed reports when they returned. It is very sad to learn of our loss, but I know your mother was there to greet him with open arms.

I was fortunate to meet Joe and Mims when they both began volunteering at the Scottsdale Historical Museum. They were a real asset to the museum and I was so happy when Joe continued to volunteer after Mims passed away.
Joe had such a positive attitude and jovial personality that he made people happy just to talk with him. He will be greatly missed.
My dad will always be my "HERO".
