Arthur Mireles Obituary

Mireles, Arthur Vasquez
70, of El Mirage was promoted to glory Saturday June 18th, 2011. He was one of twelve children. Arthur was born October 14, 1940 in Gold Road Arizona to Alfonso and Tomasa Mireles. He is survived by his wife Damina "Nona", siblings; Mercy, Josie, Charlotte, Dora, Millie, Frankie, and Alfonzo, children; Carmen, Terry, Arthur Joe, Arthur Jr., Ronald, Ralph, and Alfonso. Arthur also has twenty-six grand children and fifteen great-grandchildren. Arthur was a hard worker for SCP Construction for over 25 years and he was very athletic. He enjoyed life and was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan. Beginning in Junior High and continuing through adulthood, Arthur played for various softball teams and was known as one of the best left-handed pitchers around. He enjoyed camping and was an avid hunter. When Arthur wasn't doing any of those things, you'd often find him driving around El Mirage in his well-known camper. He will be missed. Visitation services will be held Monday June 27th, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at The Salvation Army 10730 W. Union Hills Drive. Funeral services the next day will also be held at the Salvation Army at 9:00 a.m. with a procession to Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona.
