Nellie Petterson Nacci Obituary
Nellie Peterson Nacci, 84, of Mesa, passed away on February 21, 2013. She is survived by her son Kenneth (Jocelyn) Peterson, daughters; Patricia Kennedy and Nancy (Preston) Fitch, brother Harry Helmus, Sister Christine Briggs, Grandchildren; Shelley Kennedy, Stacey Burnett, Sarah Kennedy, David Kennedy and one great granddaughter, Ryan Burnett. Nellie was a member of the Scottsdale Sweet Adelines. A Memorial Service Celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses, 480-964-4537

I was so surprised to hear that your dear mom went home to be with her Lord. You have my deepest sympathy. Our Choir has been missing her, and now even more so. May God comfort you and your family and give you His peace.

Nancy, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. No matter whether it is anticipated or not, it is never easy to lose someone you are so close to! I didn't realize she sang in Sweet Adelines! I used to sing with them in MA and it brings so much happiness and fun to your life! A Sweet Adeline quartet at her memorial service would be really special! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you celebrate her life but mourn her loss.
