Gary Tibbits Obituary

Tibbits, Gary Steven
48, of Cave Creek passed on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Gary was born on December 30, 1963 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in Minnesota where he and his family lived until they moved to Arizona in 1972 where he met and married Lisa. Gary was a loving husband and father. In his spare time he was an avid fisherman and metal fabricator. Gary was a Project Manager employed by Currier Construction for 20 years. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Lisa, two children, Steven and Nicole, his parents Rolland and Darlene Tibbits, his sisters Susan Guida (Ben) and Alexa Sheppard, 2 nieces and 3 nephews, and many other relatives. Gary fought a five year battle with cancer, and died in the arms of his devoted wife. Gary is now free from pain, and with his Heavenly Father. His memories will always be a part of us and our lives forever enriched because of him. Upon Gary's request, his ashes will be spread in Northern Minnesota. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 22, 2012 at the Tibbits home at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gary's name to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
