Betty Lou--I only met with you and Dean a
couple of times, and have nothing but good memories of those times. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

I had just written a letter to Hal. I am
Jim Nieukirk's daughter. My Dad passed away last January. I felt like I got to know Hal by reading the wonderful newsletters he sent to the pilots, my Dad being one of them. I checked the address on line and found out this news of his passing into eternity. I am so sorry for your loss. May the Lord Himself give you great comfort during this time as you walk back into life. I know Hal was a wonderful friend of my Dad and I am so thankful for that. Jesus will take care of all of you. With my love and sympathy. Ginny Nieukirk van der Steur
