Barbara Camacho Obituary
75, born to the late Herbert Lee and Annie Mae (Weldon) Kitchens of Tifton, Georgia on November 19, 1939, passed from this world on January 20, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. In 1957 she met and married John J. Camacho while he was serving in the United States Air Force. After John's retirement in 1976, they moved to Valdez, Alaska where they lived until they discovered the beauty of Hawaii while on several vacations. In 1987 they built a house in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. After John's passing in 2007, Barbara decided to move to Arizona to live near one of her sons. Barbara is survived by her sons Tony and Charlie Camacho, sister Betty (Robert) Waller, a beloved granddaughter Leahi Camacho and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later time for her and John. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following: Leahi Camacho Education Fund, c/o Southwest Fiduciary, Inc., 7147 North 59th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85301.

Barb we were friends for 48 years ~ I will miss you! Tony I am so sorry for your loss but, your Mom isn't in pain anymore and she is with your Dad again!! You have a beautiful Angel watching over you!!!

From the time I was born till your last breath I knew you loved me and my family. No matter what kind of family conflicts there were you always reached out and showed your love. My daddy spoke so many sweet things about you and loved you very much. I'm sure you are being rewarded in heaven with the humble life you chose to live. Thank you for visiting with us one last time a couple years back. I will forever hold those memories close to my heart. Until we meet again.....Love
