Thomas Chislock Obituary

Chislock, Thomas
89, of Mesa, AZ passed away on September 14, 2017. Thomas was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. After serving in the Army, he obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and settled in Scottsdale, AZ in 1961 to pursue his career as an engineer. He retired in the late 90's, spending his time volunteering for Scottsdale Stadium, gardening and anything sports related. Thomas is survived by his three loving daughters Amy Chislock-Van Ness, Elizabeth P. Hunter and Catherine M. Chislock; grandchildren Anya F. McFadden (Ben) and Jonathan Van Ness (Janelle); great grandchildren Levi and Colton McFadden; siblings Theresa Mayurnick, Florence Rever, Ann Ricci and many nieces and nephews of New Jersey. Thomas will be missed by many. A private reception will be held in Mesa, AZ, followed by a service in New Jersey with family. Donations can be made to Disabled American VeteransDAV, Department of Arizona 38 W. Dunlap Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85021 In memory of Thomas Chislock.

To the Chislock Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
