Frankie Hand Obituary

Frankie Lee Hand June 22, 1944 - November 26, 2010 Frankie Lee Hand was born in Tampa, FL, on June 22, 1944, and passed away on November 26, 2010. He was raised in upstate New York and grew up to be a generous, loving, handsome, and beautiful person inside and out. He had a loving, caring heart that showed with every smile, hug, kiss, or "I love you" he gave. He was the type of man that you could always count on to make you laugh or to help you in any way possible. He was loved by all of his family and enjoyed spending all of his time with his grandchildren, including Chase Lee Isaac Hand and Alison Jane Young, who he saw every day and who always put a smile on his face and gave him the highlight of each day. He worked his whole life to help support his family and will be deeply missed. Anyone who had the privilege to have had the chance to be a part of his life should be grateful and knows he will be deeply missed. Frankie left this world the day after Thanksgiving, which was the happiest day for him; he spent the day with family and friends and the people he loved. He will never be forgotten and will always be appreciated as a wonderful man and a man who truly cared about his family and their well-being. He was married to Juneita Hand for 48 years, and together they had four children: Cindy, Timothy, Billy, and Dollie (Dusty). He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Lynn Hand and sister, Carol. He is survived by his mother, Ann Taylor; his brother, Bob Hand; sisters, Roxanne Gullotta, Sharon Carder, and Angela Holder; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Jennifer, Jason, Stephanie, Jeremy, Justin, and Amanda; and eight great-grandchildren. We know you are now in Heaven with your family and will forever be watching over us. We loved you deeply, Papa, and you will never be forgotten. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation before the service starting at 9:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd. Greenlawn Mortuary www.bakersfield.com/obits

"my dad was the best dad any girl could ever ask for.
I was and always will be his baby girl.
Any time i was feeling sad or upset about anything, all i would have to do is
look at my dad and i would instantly have a smile on my face. he always cheered me up.
he had a heart of gold and a smile that was unforgetable.
we had some awsome times together and im going to miss him so bad.
i miss wakeing up in the morning and seeing him watching cartoons with the grand kids.
he loved his grand kids and great grand kids so much , his family was his whole world
thats what he lived for. he was their for everyone, friends and family everyone.
its going to be hard livin without him. he will always be in my heart and deaply missed.

i will always consider it to have been a blessing to be able to say how good it made me feel to be a part franks life. To know him would be to love him he was the kindest man with the biggest heart. I have honestly never met another man capable of loving his family and friends so completely. I always have and always will admire these qualities that shined so brightly in frank he was one of a kind. He was a great man and I loved him the same as I love my own father. I only wish I would have told him as much. i will hold tightly to my memories of him
I love you and will always miss you,
goodbye frank
