I have quite a few fond memories of Tom, but I would love to share two of my favorites which stand out foremost in my mind, as I feel most of you reading this have experienced on occasion.
There had been many family gatherings, I remember, through the years and Tom being there and it would not be very long before his presence was made. Tom would be making his rounds and circulating the room until he zoomed in on his target........."my mom" (known to most of you as Aunt Rita). He would give her such a hard time, as only he could do best, and rendered her speechless! She made it so easy for him too!!!!.....then he, as quickly as he appeared, he quickly moved on to his next "victim"!
This next one is my all-time favorite and I can even see it now as I write this! Did you ever see a better couple on the dance floor than Teresa and Tom? I was just so amazed on how well they complimented each other and so tuned in to each others' moves, that they made it look so easy. What a "class act"...........a modern day "Ginger and Fred"! That visual is etched in my mind until...
Our love and our prayers are with the entire "Finnerty Family"!
"We Will Miss You, Tom!
Love,
Loretta, Ed and Uncle Richard
