Wm. McCuan Obituary
On August 20, 2017, Wm. Patrick McCuan, beloved husband of Jill P. McCuan; devoted father of LaRee McCuan Siddiqui (Jahnatab) and Megan C. Hanna (Royce); cherished grandfather of Aliyan Siddiqui. Also survived by many loving family and friends. The family will receive friends at HARRY H. WITZKE'S FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6:30-8:30pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 10am at the Ten Oaks Ballroom, 5000 Signal Bell Lane, Clarksville, MD. Interment will follow in Columbia Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of MD Medical Center or to Howard Community College Educational Foundation.

I have such great memories of my Uncle Pat. He was a man I highly respected like no other on the face of this earth. He was a man of great wisdom who I referred to as The WISE ONE. He was a second father to me. He was always there for my parents and all of our family. Always there for my Dad,, my mom Peggy, his Mom LaRee, her spouse , Grandpa Sandlin even to his death.. Uncle Pat worked for everything he had. Yet HE was so generous to give to others who TRUELY needed it. He raised 2 incredible beautiful succecssful girls but not alone, but with the most loving, perfect wife, Aunt Jill. They were a beautiful family. Still are. I just want to say.. I am so proud to be one of the last McCuan girls.. no words can describe how proud I am to be a McCuan!! but most of all.. How PROUD I am and always will be to be able to say.. Uncle Pat was my Uncle, my Dads brother.. and Aunt Jill is my Aunt.. and Megan and LaRee are my cuz! We are all forever McCuan family. I will always love you all from the bottom of my heart. And Im so glad you had the opportunity to have such a great dad as Uncle Pat and great mom as Aunt Jill.. and we McCuans are the last!! So keep it going!! And remember.. when times get tough.. McCuan Never Quits! Remember that!! Love you all!! ReNea McCuan❤

Lee and I send our sincere condolences to you and the family on the loss of Pat. I remember meeting with Peter Kirk and Pat in their early years. Pat brought an incredibly diverse background to development and I would enjoy listening to his path to becoming a developer and builder. He was always so full of life and energy. He will be missed by the communities and people he touched.

Jill, as you know, Pat was a mentor to me for many years! I cherished his, and your friendship over all these years. He, and you, did wonderful things for our Republican party and Howard Community College. I'm forever grateful. I am shocked by his passing.
I'm so sorry I can not attend the viewing or funeral, I will be sitting with family in Chemo both days. Bless you and your whole family during these tough times.

Jill, I'm so sorry that I won't be able to be with you this week. Pat was such a huge and integral part of my professional and political life when I was a Howard County resident that I can't imagine life without him. He was so generous, so cheerful, and so courageous. Pat was a great man who truly made a difference,
