Robert E. Wittlinger

WITTLINGER , Robert (Bob) E. On January 20, 2010, Robert (Bob) E. Wittlinger , 67, of Columbia, MD passed away. He was born in Lancaster, PA on March 11, 1942. He was president and proud member of Solanco High School's class of 1960. He attended Valley Forge Military Academy and was a 1964 graduate of Elizabethtown College. He served in the Army National Guard and made a living in sales, most recently as Vice President/General Manager of Kols Containers in Baltimore, MD. He enjoyed traveling, biking, going to the beach and golfing. Bob was a loving father to Steven Wittlinger (wife Christine) and Mark Wittlinger (wife Marisa); cherished grandfather of Derek, Tara, Melia, Cole, and Keira. He is survived by brothers, Carl and Thomas Wittlinger and sister, Suzanne Strickler. Bob was beloved by many.
We invite family and friends to celebrate Bob's life at WOODS MEMORIAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, Severna Park, MD 21146 on Friday January 29 starting at 11:00 am. A reception of fellowship will be held immediately following the service. A private burial will be held in Lancaster, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johns Hopkins University, "JHU" at 100 North Charles Street, Suite 400, Baltimore, MD, 21201.
