Angela I think of you all the time. I have tears in my eyes as I write this. I was thinking of you in my Bible study last week, because I think about how you turned me on to lots of different gospel music that I didn't know... Every time I hear "His eye is on the sparrow," I think of you. I think of all the great laughs we had and when we burn the sugar cookies by mistake and fed them to the kids anyway L O L and all the fun that we had just laughing together. You are a beautiful person and I hope you are watching over me. I miss you. Even though it's been since 2010. I'm sitting here by my fireplace with my Christmas candle going and I'm crying because I miss you. May your memory with our Lord be eternal.

No matter how many years go by, I often think of Angela. I think of us listening to gospel music in her car at work, us making cookies for her kids at my house for Christmas, our laughs and supporting each other, our deep
Discussions, and just what a wonderful loving person she was. Angela-you are remembered, loved, and missed.

HEY GIRLFRIEND!. Just thinking of you and I love you, miss you like no tomorrow. I know your with the best and your doing just fine. Herm and I r fine for the most part..he working my nerves though lol! but i gave him some gray hair so we even!! lol.. Quick updates: Im done with school!! U shoulda seen me in my scrubs! My ceremony is next month...I know you'll be there in spirit..Gonna take my MBLEX for my license soon so Im TRYING to be better at my studying but man oh man it get tedious after while.FINGERS CROSSED! Got a spot at a chiropractors office!! So im working on building up clientele with advertising and all that jazz. Wish you were here to help..You know we short ppl gotta stick togetha lol. Man I miss you like crazy. Especially our conversations that were almost always about nothing lol. I cherish the bond we created...It aint often that the mom likes the girl her son is dating..let alone sets him up with her lol.. So Im glad we had/have that relationship. To Brontae, Sykiah, Herman and family. I will miss your mother, she was like a sister to me. It's hard to see her go so soon. We grew up in church together and were like family. I took care of Brontae many times when Angela had to work. Sometimes I would keep him over the weekend. Brontae please contact me. I use to keep up with you through your mother. Now I will need to talk to you directly. Family know that you are in our prayers. I know the days ahead will be difficult, so if you need to call please do so. To Angela's family; I grew up with Angela. I recall our mother's getting together, playing at her house, going to church at Upton Ave, serving on the usher board, going to high shcool together - just alot of good times. She was alway a beautiful person I looked up to as a big sister. We didn't see each other much as adults, but when I did see her I can truley say she was serving God - Ushering! I thank God for having her in my life and I know peace & comfort will come your way knowing that Angela is at peace. Now there's another Angel in Heaven watching over us all. Brontae, Sykiah, Lil Herman; I want you to know that I am just a call away. We all shared some joyful times together. I will truly miss my sister but I know she is in a better place and is done with the troubles of this old world. Our conversation always ended talking about the goodness of God. The last conversation we shared was about our kids and our mission for God. She said these words "If I could help someone as I traveled along, my living would not be in vain." I said these words to her, girl you have always been a walking billboard for the Lord.
We spoke of getting together this summer for a reunion. The conveersation ended with Jennifer Hudson song...He promised me a home over there and the words "I love you."

I was greatly saddened when I heard of the passing of Angela. I remember Angela when she was a very young girl from Upton Avenue Original Church. Angela's mother and my mother served together as ushers for many years. Angela was a very loving and caring person then. Angela and I traveled many roads together. During our last trip, she displayed a peace that I hadn't noticed before as she seemed to be patiently waiting for something. I will miss Angela. I am so sorry to hear about the death of Angela. She was a wonderful woman. We worked together many years ago--two of my favorite memories of her were baking sugar cookies at Christmas time at my house when Brontae and Sykiah were little and letting the kids eat raw dough while we laughed and played music..and also, when work got too stressful, we'd go out to her car at lunch and listen to Gospel music (on cassette and 8 track no less!!).There are some songs that will always remind me of her; "His Eye is on the Sparrow", and "Grateful" are two of them... Angela, I will miss you, and I am sorry I didn't see you much over the last few years. I will regret that..life is never too busy for friends. God bless you and your family..you were a one in a million woman! PS: I am adding a candle because Angela truly reflected the light of Christ in her love of life and love for others!!

It doesn't feel like long ago when we were playing at your house, our mom's laughing and talking till late at night. I will always remember Angela's smile! Beautiful! I can't recall a time when I ever saw her frowning.
