Dear Aunt Joyce,
Sorry to hear of uncle Ray's passing. Wish the family could of been there. I have fond memories of both you and Ray when you visited Oregon, and the great time we had visiting you in Michigan! Never will forget when you were visiting us in Oregon, Pam & I announced we were getting married and you said we couldn't because we wern't old enough! Then we all had a good laugh! The fact is you and Ray gave us a great example how to love, live, and conduct our lives. Uncle Ray will be greatly missed. Our love and prayers go to you and your family.

Dear Aunt Joyce,

I am so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I have a lot of early memories of the both of you. Christmas's, Thanksgiving, Easter, and even when you were married (I don't remember being there, but how beautiful you were). Hastings, the house at Urbandale, and the Turkey Roaster, (he teased me about putting me in it that year with the Turkey, said they could eat for a long time). I remember he and dad and Uncle Dick laughing a lot, playing cards and telling jokes, calling each other 'abie', and would not tell me what it meant when I asked. Never did find out.

I am sure you will miss him a lot. My very sincerest condolences. May he rest in Peace. Love you, Elaine.
