Albion
Charlene Marie Dismuke "Bitty", age 62 of Albion passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on April 15, 2017. She was born January 23, 1955 to J.T. and Doris Marie (Dismuke) Lawler in Albion, Michigan.
Charlene had worked as a receptionist for the State of Michigan for a number of years. She loved life, family and she enjoyed cooking big dinners for her family, especially on Sunday's.
Charlene is survived by her sons, Reico (Djuana) Dismuke and Mario Dismuke both of Albion; sister, Jody Dismuke of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Lewis Dismuke of Battle Creek and Lee (Brenda) Atchison of Jackson; grandchildren, Jada Motley-Dismuke of Lansing, Sherrod Motley-Dismuke of Albion and Maliyah Dismuke of Battle Creek.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 11:00AM - 2:00PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

My condolences to the family. Ms. Charlene was respected, always treated me like family and always had a big hug for me for whenever we saw each other. She used to me that I was older than her just because my birthday was the day before hers, lol. She'll be greatly missed, and to family, I'm here when you need me. You're all in my prayers.
