Scott Rosenbaum, 49, of Seabrook, was quietly lifted into heaven on December 6, 2012. This followed years of struggles, starting in 1976, with brain tumors, brain radiation, epilepsy, paraplegia and strokes. Despite his challenges, Scott graduated in the top quarter on his Clear Lake High class. He attended UHCL where he earned a BS degree in Computer Science, followed by a 10 years career at NASA-JSC. Scott's willingness to accept his never-ending medical handicaps, and still struggle forward, was an inspiration to all. Scott is survived by his parents, Bernard and Pat Rosenbaum, his brother Robert and wife Tessie, his sister Melissa Campbell and husband Colin, nieces Katlyn, Krista, Kelsey, Amy, and Emily, and nephews Caiden and Connor. He is also survived by 30 aunts and uncles, 49 cousins, and his maternal grandmother. Services will include a visitation Thursday, Dec 13 at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX starting at 5:30 pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm. On Friday Dec 14th at 10 am a funeral mass will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 18223 Point Lookout Dr., Nassau Bay, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donation be given in Scott's name to Houston Epilepsy Foundation, 2630 Fountain View Drive, Houston, Texas 77057, or the TIRR Herman Memorial Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Foundation, 929 Gessner, Suite 2650 Houston, TX 77024.
