Carroll Weber Obituary

Webber Carroll George Weber passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 at his home in Nederland, Texas. Carroll was born on September 3, 1923 in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Pacific Theater as an Army Cryptologist. His rank was Sergeant First Class. For several years, Carroll served as a City Councilman in Pear Ridge. He retired from Gulf Oil after 40 years of service as a head operator. He was a member of the Catholic faith. He is survived by a wife he loved dearly, Becky Weber. Other survivors include his younger brother, Ben Weber of Groves. Children, Michael Weber of Groves, Cecilia Peterson of Clear Lake, Texas and Gwen Moreno of Pearland, Texas. Step - children, Diane Gabourel of Katy, Texas, Gary Dean and Terry Dean of Warren, Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and was fondly known as Paw Weber. Carroll was an avid fisherman and gardener. He will be missed by all who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the funeral home.
