Lea Groves

Lea Ann Groves, nee Hicks, 39, of Dupo, Ill., born Nov. 19, 1971, in St. Charles, Mo., passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Lea worked as a receptionist in the dental field. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Columbia, Ill.

Surviving are her husband, J.D. Groves; her step-daughter, Baylee Groves; her mother, Laura (Roger) Pheasant of Fenton, Mo.; her father, Harry Layne (Marianne Dennie) Hicks of Washington, Mo.; her sister, Lynn (Michael) Glass of Kansas City, Mo., her nieces, Madison and Shelby Glass; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Pat Groves of Dupo, Ill.; and her sister-in-law, Teresa Groves of Long Beach, Calif.; she is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to ASPCA (American Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
