Bradley Holden Obituary

Well known sportsman and long time Ferndale resident Bradley Joseph Holden passed away peacefully at the Wenatchee General hospital Wednesday, March 16, 2011, after a short term illness. He was born on July 12, 1948. Brad worked his entire life involved in the commercial fishing industry and was known and loved from the Columbia River in Oregon to the Aleutian chain in Alaska. Brad enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, Brad was always ready to help, wanting to give or loan out anything to anyone in need. After he moved to Conconully, (Wa.), He found another joy; the two children of his adopted daughter Lonnie, Alexis and Sophia Bell, his girls meant everything to him. Brad was called "Grandpa" locally, and he loved every minute of it. Brad treated his two granddaughters like they were his own, blood couldn't have made them any closer, or made them love each other any deeper. Brad will be interned at the Pioneer cemetery in Conconully overlooking the lake and the beautiful town he loved so much; and always wanted to retire to. He was a beloved member of good standing to the Conconully community church. Brad was a young man of 62 when he passed away and was survived by his adopted daughter Lonnie Wood, her children Alexis and Sophia Bell, his sister Jolene, his brother Patrick and his two nieces Andrea and Jamie. Peace be with you Brad, you will never be forgotten.

I am sorry to hear about Brad. He was a good guy to work with. Always had a good visit and laugh when we'd bump into each other. You will be missed Brad.
