Mary Patricia "Pat" Gregory

Mary Gregory Obituary

Pat passed away February 18, 2011 peacefully in her sleep at the Sun City, AZ home that she shared with her husband Thomas Gregory. Pat was born September 23, 1926 in Tacoma, WA to Doug and Etta McGuire. Her childhood years were spent on the family farm near Welcome, WA, then Sumner, and later Tacoma, WA where she graduated from St. Leo's High School in 1944. After high school, Pat married Kenneth Call. She gave birth to three children who survive her, Linda (Kenneth) Lambert of Puyallup, Kenneth (June) Call of Edgewood and James (Barbara) Call of Fife; five grandchildren, Kenneth "K.C." Call, Carri Lowery, Jenny Call, Tara Cochran, and Morgan Lambert; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Jean Bottke and is survived by her sister Joann Makovich of Gig Harbor. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She shared her many passions that included books, travel, art, crafts, and her ongoing search for that perfect treasure to decorate her home. She developed a love for baseball, which in her usual fashion included not only the games and the nicknames of her team's players, but full biographical information on their entire families as well. Most of all, she shared her great sense of humor and her tremendous pride in her family. We already miss you so much, Mom, and we are so proud to be your family.
