Paul Rench Obituary
1946 - 2015 DALTON Paul David Rench, 68, of Dalton, died Thursday, May 7, at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Troy, N.Y., on July 15, 1946, the son of Vladimir and Sophie Rench, he grew up in Cohoes, N.Y. Paul was self-employed as an insurance claims adjustor for the past 40 years. Paul leaves his wife, Kathleen Liberty Rench, whom he married November 14, 1964. He is also survived by his son, David Rench, and his family, Leslie Rench, Nicholas Rench, Alexander Rench, and Anna Rench, of Quechee, VT.; as well as his son, Daniel Rench, and family Mary Rench, Jeremy Leighfield, and Kara Rench of Pittsfield. Paul was pre-deceased by his two children, Karen Rench, and Scott Rench.He was also predeceased by his brother, Robert Rench. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter M. Naranjo, II., Parochial Vicar. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, from 4 - 7 p.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berkshire Humane Society in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.

Dear Kathy, Dave, and Dan,
My heart aches for your loss of Paul, a man whose warmth and smile lit up Bixby Road. I´ll always cherish the memories of him cheering us on as we played baseball, football, and whiffle ball, his encouragement making every kid feel like a star. He was more than a neighbor-he was a mentor, instilling values of kindness and resilience in us all, just as he did with you, his beloved family. Those simpler days of bike rides and backyard games remain vivid, a testament to Paul´s spirit. May these memories bring you comfort, and may you feel his love always.

My deepest sympathies to the Rench Family. I have known Paul since 2000, working with him in the Insurance Industry. Impeccable person...truly a joy to have known him. We work in an industry that can be contentious, especially the liability side, yet Paul brought a sense of professionalism and compassion to the job, that was a mark of his own. I am a better person for having known him. God Speed.

My deepest condolences to the entire Rench Family. My company was one of Paul's clients and we worked together over many years. I had the utmost respect for Paul and his abilities in the insurance profession. He was truly a professional in every sense of the word. He will be deeply missed both personally and professionally.
