STUART A. "DOUG" DOUGLASS Jr.

DOUGLASS, JR., STUART A. "DOUG" passed away September 18, 2011. He is survived by his son Stuart A. Douglass, III, mother Kitty Douglass Whitehurst, siblings Linda Douglass Woodard (Russ), Cecelia Douglass Herndon (George), Jean Douglass Baswell (Tom), Carla Douglass Jaudon (Randy), Frazier Douglass, IV (Eva), and David Whitehurst (Sherry). Special relatives are Brooks Woodard O'Neal (Roger), Kathrine Woodard Guest (Ryan), great-nephew Easton Douglass Guest, and David, Drew and Daniel McCarty. Uncles are Jim Douglass and B.A. Douglass, Jr. (Sue) as well as numerous other special family members and friends. Doug was the owner of SAD Motor Company and loved to ride Harley-Davidsons. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and we all knew that when "Uncle Doug" was around we were going to have a great time. A master handyman, countless family and friends were on the receiving end of his unselfishness. The memorial service will be held Friday, September 23, 2011 at 12:30 pm. at Shades Valley Presbyterian Church located at 2305 Montevallo Road in Mtn. Brook, Dr. Taylor Todd officiating. Visitation to follow in church parlor. Memorials may be sent to Shades Valley Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
