Anthony Albano was a great person and an awesome softball coach. I played 2nd base for EB High from 1979 - 1982. When ever I saw Anthony any where in EB and very recently at the polling station at EB High he would always remind me how I "couldn't catch a beach ball". Always said it with a smile on his face and a big hug to follow it up. I will miss you Coach!!

October 5, 2014

My fondest memory of Anthony was in 1982, I was a sofemore and was writing out the late passes at the entrance of East Boston High School. It was my 16th birthday and Anthony sang the song 16 Candles to me. Just thinking about that brings tears to my eyes. Anthony had a heart of gold. May you Rest In Peace Anthony. You will never be forgotten to all those people whose lives you touched.

October 5, 2014

I can't say enough about Anthony.. I knew him since High School.. and from there he has assisted me in all three of my sons high school endeavors... no matter what time it was or when i showed up at the school... Anthony made me feel like I was the only person that mattered... He would sit me in his office.. .smile.. and tell me.. "Don't worry, we can fix this" no matter how bad it looked.. or how serious it was.. he had a solution.. I watched my last son of three walk across the stage to get his diploma... In spite of the obstacles my family ran into these last years.. He saw to it that our needs were met regularly.. I will miss his voice.. his laugh and his "go to" attitude most of all.. he will live on for many years to come in all of us... God Bless You Anthony, and thank you... Maria Castiello

First my own children, then my grandchildren. He made quite an impact on my family. Thank you so much Mr. Albano

When God sent him down to earth, he didn't send a pebble, not even a boulder. He sent down a mountain. A man who had a heart the size of a mountain. The compassion, the size of a mountain. His love of kids, the size of a mountain. His care for his community, the size of a mountain.

Rest in peace Anthony. You have deserved it. But this community didn't deserve to lose you so soon.

I am truly sorry for your great loss. Anthony did everything in a big way and when he walked in a room, his presence was felt by all and now the sorrow of his passing will be felt by all.
