I knew Stanley from being a singer in the Mystic Chorale and singing in concerts that he drummed for for many years. He was an amazing musician in the band and we had many brief conversations before or after concerts. He always was warm and reached out to me. I'm so sorry for his passing.

Through the years that I worked with Stanley at Lincoln Schools, I came to realize what a dedicated teacher he truly was. His work ethic and commitment to his young students earned him great respect. As a music teacher myself, I will always remain inspired by this man.

Stanley Swan was a "gentle man" of the highest order! He always had a ready smile since the first day I met him when he came to audition for the the music program at UMass Lowell. He was a real inspiration to many of the younger students.
