I met David in Winthrop when he was a new hire. We shared an apartment together at Governors Park for a short time. Although through the years we lost touch with each other, I was shocked to learn of his passing. I remember him to be one of the kindest persons that I have met, and I loved his sense of humor. I will miss you my friend.

I am so sad to hear of such a vibrant person's passing...David was only a joy...never a burden. He was always a listening ear...talented, handsome, smiling...actually chuckling! I am so saddened for those of you who knew him more than I, for I feel his loss at a distance.

David had dignity and decency. He was a consummate professional. His gift of putting his friends and colleagues instantly at ease, made him a joy to work with and be around. And his wit was so appealing. I will miss him and will always remember him with respect. Love, Clare Pimentel

David was always so much fun to fly with. I will always remember flying one of my first trips in Boston with him. He always had a bright smile and a fantastic spirit about him. He will be missed.

Rick, Linda and family, I loved David he was not only one of my closest friends, he was my brother. I can not believe that I will never see him or hear his laugh again. My heart is breaking. The three musketeer's are now two and Marie is without Donnie.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of David. My heart goes out to all of his family, friends, and co-workers who were blessed enough to know him. My deepest sympathy to David's family and friends. As a former Flight Attendant I had the pleasure of working with Dave several times. I worked my very last flight with him. He was a wonderful person and I will miss him ever so much.

Dave was always quick with that smile and made everyone feel comfortable when with him. He was wonderful to work with and will be missed. Our condolences to his family and to Rick. God Bless.

I was totally shocked when I heard that David had passed away. Being based in Boston we were like family. We have lost one of our own. David will be truly missed by all. Love, prayers and sympathy to his family and friends.

As a high school classmate of David's, I remember seeing him last at a class reunion some 20 years ago and hoped to see him again sometime soon because he was such a warm, kind person. I am shocked to learn he is gone and saddened by the fact I will never have the chance to see him again. My condolences to his partner and family. May your sweet memories comfort you.

David and I were working a flight to San Juan several years ago. A woman came up to me and said a man was not responding in the back. Dave and I got to him and he had no pulse and was not breathing. Dave ran and got the AED and we shocked him. He survived due to daves professionalism and immediate response. Great flight Attendant. He will be missed.

As a former fight attendant with US Airways, I have very wonderful memories of David. He was such a kind, loving person. I saw him last July as I was trying to get home to Boston, and he recognized me right away, even though I had stopped flying years before. We had a nice conversation, just like old times. It was a full flight and since I was traveling on a pass, it became clear I was not going to get a seat. That's when David came up to me and offered to take the jumpseat to BOS, so I could have a seat and make my flight. David was a selfless, warm person and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. In sympathy and love, Leslie DeMarco
