I am moved and very sad to learn just now that Marilyn has passed. I extend my deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Marty, Franny, Gail and Faye. I remember with love my one year with Momo and FBBZZTMTK. Her mom lived fully and with wit, loving kindness and openness to new experiences. I am touched by the remembrances here and by many personal recollection. Rest in peace, Marilyn. I love you still, and always will.

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Marilyn was a brilliant and effervescent person who made me happy whenever I saw her. Her sarcastic and honest wit was a tonic, and her competence made everyone around her better. She was one of those rare people who engendered an appreciation for life, no matter how banal the project you might be working on at the time. I am so sorry for your loss and and for the gigantic space she will leave behind. Bravo, Marilyn!

I know Marilyn would want me to focus on how wonderful she was , all the things she's done and shared, her amazing mono blog, the love she had for her family and from her family, her humor , her smile and her will to fight and enjoy life...but what a huge loss. Right now, it's just very sad. Such a wonderful person.
