Mark Twain, so eloquently wrote. "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time". Even though the chain of events during the last number of years have been hard to say the least, Our father lived a full life!! Everyone hear has and will continue to have memories and flashbacks of Our father. Little vignettes of moments in time that he spent with each and every one of you. Let those moments live in you and yours,for that is the true essence of a man's life. Let those moments help you to live...to understand...to embrace and cherish your time with whom you choose and to live a full life,just like Our father did. Your memory lives on...We love you Dad, Ian,Evan,Dan and Jodi

Allen informed me the other day about the passing of Bob. I have been out of touch with the family especially since moving to California and did not even know how sick Bob was until Allen told me. In light of everything, it was good of you to attend my brother's wedding two weeks ago and I was heartened by the fact that so many Bluesteins were able to attend. It's been so many years since we've talked and I'm glad we had a few moments to share. I want to remain in contact with you and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

On behalf of the City Solicitors and Town Counsel Association, of which Bob was a long time member during his many years of service as City Solicitor to Medford, and myself personally, please accept our most sincere condolences on his passing. He was a very highly regarding municipal attorney and often looked upon for his sage counsel. I know I speak for countless municipal attorneys when I say that we were always so impressed with and appreciative of his willingness to share ideas and offer guidance.

Dear Marilyn & Family...Alan called me yesterday to inform me of Bob's death. Although surrounded by love & quality care, Bob's quality of life, these last few years, must have been very difficult. For Bob's sake I am glad he is now at peace. In that same vein, I prefer to think that Bob may be laughing & joking with Dad right now as they used to do whenever they got together.
