Dear Shane, Connie, Jen and all the Venturas,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother. When I read about her in the paper, a flood of memories came back to me. I spent many fun hours at your house back in high school and your mother was always very gracious when I was there. She was one of the rare mothers that seemed genuinely interested in their children’s friends and enjoyed having them visit whether it was hanging out watching TV, horseback riding, or rolling up the living room rug to host the many cast parties there. She not only tolerated my many visits, but always seemed happy to see me and all the others friends that were always stopping by. Whenever I drive down Belknap road I think of the fun times we had at your house and your mother was usually in the middle of them. I’m very grateful I knew her and the rest of your family.
Again, my condolences for your loss.
Sincerely,
George
