DORIAN, Daniel K. Of Belmont and Boca Raton, Florida January 11, 2011 passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Helene A. Dorian. Devoted son of the late Daniel K. and Satenig Kachadorian. Treasured father of Daniel K. Dorian IV and his wife Lisa (Kolligian), Janice Dorian, Lois Malconian and her husband Ronald and Barbara Dorian. Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Amanda Dorian, Sarah, Ronald and Danielle Malconian. Brother of Edward S. and his wife Ethel of Purchase, New York, Dr. Robert V. and his wife Mary of Livingston, New Jersey, Seth and his wife Betty of Alpharetta, Georgia, Nancy D. Kasarjian and her husband Dr. Parnag H. of Newton MA and brother-in-law of the late Rose G. and Dr. Harry Samourian and the late Leon and Dorothy Garabedian. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends. Daniel was a Master Sergeant serving In World War II. He was Owner and President of Mansfield Beauty Schools and Lakes Region Cinemas. He was active his entire life in the Armenian Church. He was the first Diocesan Delegate from Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church to serve on the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church (Eastern). He was the recipient of the St. Nerses Shnorall Medal: Member of the Diocesan Board of Trustees: Founder and Liaison of the Woman's Central Council; member of the Holy Trinity ParIsh Council and the First Parish Council Chairman of St. Mary's Armenian Church in Irvington, New Jersey. Recipient of the Man of The Year Award of Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Greater Boston, Past President of Oakley Country Club Watertown, MA; Past President of the Council of Armenian Executives and Past President of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools and was the recipient of the Man of the Year Award and the N.F. Cimaglia Award. He was also a past member of the Warrant Committee of Belmont, MA. Funeral Services at Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 145 Brattle Street, Cambridge on Saturday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, WATERTOWN on Friday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Holy Trinity Armenian Church.
