When Eddie passed away, my son, Michael thought it was Mr. Hynch. Neil loved his boats. I would ride on the Commuter boat with him. He always made sure his sons Mike and Eddie made it to the rink for hockey. He was a great guy! I will miss him on the dock of the Satuit Boat Club as I have for the past couple of years. Kathy, I was so sorry to read of Neil's passing. I always enjoyed taking his calls at The Ledger wanting to speak to his "roommate." A wonderful man who adored his wife. Thinking of you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to Neil's extended family. I had the distinct honor of practicing law with Neil for many years, both at the firms of Hale, Sanderson and at Herlihy & O'Brien, where he did all of the appellate work. Neil was a brilliant attorney and an equally brilliant
Supreme Court Judge. I was always in awe of his intellect, his vast knowledge of the law, and his unparalleled common sense. His passing is a great loss to Massachusetts jurisprudence.

My condolences on the losses to the Lynch Family. Judge Lynch was not only a great jurist but a great guy as well. Reading his obituary I learned that Eddy had passed away also. I knew him from his teen years, when I was a member of the Scituate PD, and I have always enjoyed our brief conversations and his smile whenever we met since then.
