Dear Roberta:

I am sorry for the loss of your husband as well as your sister Marlene Clayton. I knew you many years ago as I frequently visited your sister's home in Brookline and had the opportunity to meet you as well as your Mom.

I have many fond memories of your family even though I never met Marvin. You will always have a special place in my heart even though our paths have not crossed in many years.

Dear Roberta, Gayle and Marcea-
I just learned that Marvin passed away in late November. Pleas accept my belated condolences.
Marvin was an inspiration to me. I first met him when I was a young lawyer representing insurance companies. He was an expert for an insured. I cross-examined him, quite inartfully, and he was very kind in return. I later began to represent insureds, and work with public adjusters, in large part due to his example.
Marvin was an indefatigable advocate for insureds. He was brilliant, and I always appreciated his ideas and guidance. We also shared many laughs together; he had a great sense of humor.
The public adjustment community has lost a guiding light. My thoughts are with your family.
